Being a gig worker has crossed my mind several times. Some time last year I was looking at teaching English online. I am still thinking of doing that and make extra income. While working in a petrochemical during shutdown period a lot of freelancer in the inspection department used to come those guys would communicate how they move around towns to make an income. I think what is stopping me from doing this is just my thinking. The monthly salary trap. But this is definitely some thing to explore.
